Color Schemes

The Denver Broncos have a complimentary color scheme of orange and blue. The Color combinations that create orange, green and purple are: Red+yellow=orange, yellow+blue=green, and blue+red=purple. The difference between tint and shade are that white+color=tint, and black+color=shade. The neutral colors contain equal parts of each of the three primary colors; black, white grey and sometimes brown are considered neutral colors.
The Three main types of colors schemes used to create web sites are analogues, complimentary and monochromatic. An example web site using an analogue scheme is http://www.smashingpumpkins.com. An example of a web site using a complimentary color scheme is http://www.blink182.com. An example of a web site using a monochromatic color scheme is http//www.circuitcity.com.
